Internship

What should an ORCA-Intern bring with them?

Curiosity, curiosity, curiosity. And of course openness, humor and willingness to learn. In addition, you should be enrolled at a university and have at least the next 3 months of time and desire to help us ORCAs! You have your bachelor’s degree in communication, political science or similar (almost) in the bag, now you are looking for exciting practical tasks in the socio-political field – and you are excellent at researching, analyzing, conceptualizing, coordinating, organizing and communicating. Events with many guests appeal to you just as much as the solitude of the typing pool; MS Office comes easily to you. You shine with your high sense of responsibility and quality as well as with your great interest in political current affairs. A good command of written and spoken English is an advantage, but you are welcome to brush up on your English every Thursday …

What do we offer an ORCA-Intern?

First and foremost, meaningful tasks with socio-political significance and the opportunity to get to know the exciting, creative and lively working environment of an agency in Berlin-Mitte with an extremely interesting range of clients. As an intern, you are a fully-fledged team member and can contribute your ideas – whether fresh from university or developed on your own – and implement them within a flat hierarchy. Your internship with us will of course be remunerated.

We focus on needs-oriented work: You can use the app to flexibly choose which space you want to use in our office and when – whether it’s a desk, meeting room, library or conference room. What is more? Oh yes, our English lessons! Once a week, if you like and want to speak fluently on an international level.

You feel the ORCA in you?

Then we should get to know each other! We value diversity and welcome all applications: For us, brains and commitment count – not gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age or sexual orientation and identity. Please send your application with details of the possible internship period, a certificate of study and (in the case of a compulsory internship) an excerpt of the internship/study regulations to: jobs@orca-affairs.de. We are looking forward to ORCA’s growth!
